I don’t want to under-estimate or over exaggerate about the times we are going through. What is upon us today has never been since the beginning of the formation of the Declaration of Independence. Our liberties are being strong armed by government. Folks now is the time to get emergency supplies because of the extreme potential of a riot and even at worse a Civil War with the people standing steadfast by having the will of the people against the government. Should I say the Secular Progressives and extreme
Liberals.
I am going to spell it out to you my friends, that only a fool would not be prepared for them and their families. Only a fool would ignore the things that are transpiring with the Tea Parties and the under current of government debauchery.
It is the time to get necessary food storage and emergency supplies, and if you can afford it buy a greenhouse so you can can your produce. It cannot stress this point more in time than what it is now. Folks we got to get prepared now before chaos and hysteria settles in.
What I am referring to about hysteria and chaos is when the people get burned by this health care plan and then they wake up and realize that it was the government policy and the not so will of the people, has designed.
There are more facts to think about because I don’t want to scare anyone into buying anything out of haste. It seems to be the pattern or should I say the plan of the selected few g-men that wants to control some of our precious liberties such as ” Capitalism” and the Free Enterprise System by them controlling the banks, firing of a General Motors CEO, and of course now the Insurance and Health Care Industry that is a Trillion Dollar Industry a year.
But, this is not I want to warn you about. What I want to warn you about is Congress’s House Bill 875 and Senate Bill 425. These two bills is when the government wants to control our food supply from seed to the dinner table. Of course we have to have some politics in the mix. Senator (D) DeLeore from Conn, Senator De Leore’s husband works for Monsanto which is the largest seed and pesticide companies in the United States. This would mean growers would have to settle for hybrid seeds and the seeds producing seeds would be something of the past.
Yes, folks we need to take action to be self reliant, and we have to absolutely be prepared by getting the necessary items to be prepared for a shortage of food because of the inability for food to get to the grocery stores because of rioting.
This is not some type of scare tactic my friends, it is a warning to get your generators, 3 month at least food supply,.get an escape plan for you and your family, get the right kind of gas masks, and most importantly get cash out of your ATM that will last you at least a month or more.
Please take heed my friends because the tea pot is percolating.and things are going to be chaotic for quite awhile. We have to be prepared!!!
I was talking to my sister about how business has been for me. Just like many other Americans some of us are really suffering. What is of great concern is the reasons why the innocent have to pay the price for the people that are breaking the laws of our human existence.
What that means is that I believe the world is held together by people that are good, otherwise we would have been destroyed a long time ago. The people that are prideful and are not taking care of the fatherless, the windows, or the poor. It seems as though they are the ones that are screwing things up for the good people. Of course, this is my opinion.
However, this problem goes much deeper than that. What about the promiscuity of people with their gay or bi-sexual lifestyle? God is God and God does not like sex outside of marriage, plain and simple. Just because someone does not have any religious preference and spirituality has been compromised to be something with a broad range of interpretation, what about the people who are thwarting off temptation and are keeping the commandments of God? Should they pay for the sins of the people who are breaking the laws of God?
This is not just about sexual immorality. This is also pertaining to the pridefulness of the people and how they seem to get tighter and tighter with their money and are refusing to help those in need.
I have a window cleaning business and have for 11 years. I have gone door to door as a way to build my business from scratch. I moved from Utah to Boise, Idaho to expand my business four years ago. I have had a very tough time getting a window cleaning job because people are holding on to their money which there is no crime in that, is there? The problem for what I have experienced is that attitude of the people in their nastiness and rudeness.
Well, hello people I hate to tell you this, but the Obama Administration printed up trillions of dollars as a way to devalue the dollar. How long is this so called money that is becoming worthless is going to last? Not very long especially with the buzz about coming out with the Amero as a new currency. What is going to happen to the dollar? What is going to happen to the people that are gripping the dollars with their pride like it will last them a lifetime?
Well if this attitude continues ” Great Shall Be Their Fall” says the scriptures. Well if this continues then darn rights they deserve to fall in their pridefulness. ” The First Shall Be The Last and The Last Shall Be The First” according to scripture. What does that mean? I believe it means that what it says in scripture “The Meek Shall Inherit The Earth” which means all things pertaining to it because money will slip through the fingers of the prideful.
Let’s get some more understanding on the economic situation in the world and how it pertains to God and prophecy. It is written that there will be a separtion between the wheat and the tare. Just as wheat is harvested it has to be shaken to separate it from the tare. The tare gets shaken also, so shall we be shaken.
How do we deal with this situation? Well today and like everyday I prayed and asked the Lord to bless me with work. Well He didn’t and has not this week. Naturally I went to the Lord and asked Him what is going on just like anyone would do. The small whisper came to me and said” Fear not for I have plans for you not to harm you but to give you hope”. My first thought was, oh yeah Lord since when does adversity and fear give me hope?
Then it came to me what it meant. We are headed for some very hard times folks and do not believe the media when they say “oh yeah the economy is turning around. That is hog wash; just because of the approval rate of President Obama is down and the health care plan is not being received by the people.
We are headed deeper and deeper in recession because of the bright idea of spending money to pull us out of this economic mess that Congress initiated. Our dollar has been devalued and we do not have much clout throughout the world and the trading markets. We are going to be shaken as the wheat and the tare if we continue to go down this beaten path.
So what path should we be going down? The pathway to storing food, weapons and ammo, emergency supplies, and investigate alternative housing in rural areas. You should be thinking in terms of using items to barter or trade.
Let’s go off the wall here ok? Lets say that some people are right when they say that we are in the last days. In the last and final days before Jesus returns we have been told that we will be living as they did in Biblical days. They traded and bartered then and it seemed to work pretty well for them. The reason why their lives were simple and yet effective is that they did not have money to corrupt people and make them pompous.
There is no surprise to many of us that the dollar will collapse. It is not if as much as it is when. What will we do in the mean time to support our families? What will we do for survival? What are we going to do to fill in the gap when the dollar collapses? What if the Amero does not become our new currency?
This is hard to imagine that the government would do such a thing. This is a true story and the video interview is compelling. I take these kinds of topics very personally because I am starting a business called the Community Growers Association. When you read the interview below you will be angered. It is time for Americans to wake up and take a stand for their food and shelter, what is next for the government to encroach our boundaries?
After reading the article we want to hear from you. We have set up a chat room so that we can talk about this topic and other various topics of interest. Chat Room and put in the embedded code to join in the chat room as a member.

“Unconscionable Police Raid on Family’s Home and Organic Food Co-Op”
Steps have been taken to start legal action against the Ohio Department of Agriculture (ODA) and the Lorain County Health Department for violating the constitutional rights of John and Jacqueline Stowers of LaGrange, Ohio.
The Stowers operate an organic food cooperative called Manna Storehouse. ODA and Lorain County Health Department agents forcefully raided their home and seized the family’s personal food supply, cell phones and personal computers.
On the morning of December 1, 2008, law enforcement officers forcefully entered the Stowers’ residence without first announcing they were police or stating the purpose of the visit. With guns drawn, they swiftly and immediately moved to the upstairs of the home, where ten children were in the middle of a home-schooling lesson. Officers then moved Jacqueline Stowers and her children to their living room, where they were held for more than six hours.
There has never been a complaint filed against Manna Storehouse or the Stowers related to the quality or healthfulness of the food distributed through the co-op.
Dr. Mercola’s Comments:
Seems I’ve been reporting on ever increasing, and downright shocking losses of freedom in the U.S. over the past couple of years, and listening to the Stowers’ personal account in the video above shows that this is no exception.
This is simply inexcusable government intrusion on the freedom of choice of American consumers – your right to chose nutritious, organic and locally grown foods, and to save money by buying in bulk through a community co-op.
Was the Raid on Manna Storehouse Justified?
In December last year, the Farm-to-Consumer Legal Defense Fund (FTCLDF) joined forces with the Buckeye Institute’s 1851 Center for Constitutional Law in filing a civil lawsuit against the Ohio Department of Agriculture and the Lorrain County Health Department for performing an illegal raid on the Stowers family residence in La Grange, Ohio.
The Stowers had run a community co-op called Manna Storehouse since 1999. The 60 regular members pooled their resources and bought food in bulk from organic growers across the state of Ohio, which enabled them get discounts on the healthiest foods available, such as grass-fed beef, free-range poultry, organic eggs and produce, raw milk and cheese —all produced without man-made chemicals, hormones, pesticides, dyes, or additives.
Those of you who read this newsletter on a regular basis are well aware that this type of diet is a powerful way for many to achieve and maintain optimal health and longevity, especially if you eat according to your nutritional type. It’s even more important if you suffer with any type of food allergies, intolerance to chemical additives, or chronic illness.
The problem, according to the Feds, stems from the fact that the Stowers were selling foods without a retail license. However, they were not selling to the general public, only to co-op members who pay a membership fee and agree to take full responsibility for the food they purchase, which exempts them from requiring a license, according to the FTCLDF and the Buckeye Institute who are now defending them.
Said FTCLDF President Pete Kennedy,
“We joined in this suit because it furthers the mission of the Fund, which is to protect and defend the rights of farmers and consumers to have direct commerce with each other free from governmental interference and harassment.
We hope that the Lorrain County Court of Common Pleas recognizes that government is overreaching in this case and is basically engaged in intimidation tactics to frighten people into believing that they cannot provide food for themselves.”
FTCLDF General Counsel Gary Cox added,
“This is an example where, once again, the government is trying to deny people their inalienable, fundamental right to produce and consume the foods of their choice. The purpose of our complaint is to correct that wrong.”
Violating Constitutional Rights in the Name of… What?
The Fourth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, and Section 14, Article 1 of the Ohio Constitution, guarantees the right of peaceful citizens to be free from paramilitary police raids, searches and seizures. And yet these types of constitutional breaches over food, nutritional supplements, and wholesome alternative remedies are performed at an ever increasing rate.
For example, just as the consumption of raw milk is growing in America, so are heavy-handed attempts by state officials in some states to kill it. They’ve confiscated thousands of dollars worth of food, which is often all it takes to bankrupt a business and squelch a movement.
Forceful raids and sweeping searches and seizures are not “routine,” and exceed the authority granted to Ohio Department of Agriculture (ODA) and county health departments.
The lawsuit filed by the Buckeye Institute and FTCLDF maintains that the paramilitary style execution of a search warrant against a peaceful family whose only alleged crime was failure to obtain a permit – which is a third degree misdemeanor under state law – is clearly unconstitutional.
The armed agents from the ODA, the Loraine County Department of Health, and the local police carried the type of search warrant used to bust potentially violent and dangerous drug dealers!
How You Can Help Protect Your Rights
The Farm-to-Consumer Legal Defense Fund is a non-profit organization made up of farmers and consumers joining together and pooling resources to:
Protect the constitutional right of the nation’s family farms to provide processed and unprocessed farm foods directly to consumers through any legal means
Protect the constitutional right of consumers to obtain unprocessed and processed farm foods directly from family farms
Protect the nation’s family farms from harassment by federal, state, and local government interference with food production and on-farm food
If you want to help the fund carry out their mission, and help farmers and citizens like the Stowers with their legal defense costs, you can make a donation to the fund by going to this site.
Remember, today, conventional agriculture uses an arsenal of more than 600 pesticides – enough to ensure that about three pounds of it ends up on your plate every year, if you consume conventionally-grown produce.
And the routine use of antibiotics, synthetic hormones, and genetically modified organisms to beef up yields has created a number of serious health concerns, including early puberty and an array of new allergies.
If you want to be optimally healthy, knowing what you eat and where it comes from is of prime importance, and belonging to a co-op is a great way to save money while ensuring your family eats well.

Many of our readers will be outraged when they hear what was on down in Houston. The Mayor of Houston wants to use tax payers money to pay off bad debts of irresponsible people that incurred this debt.
There is a principle that people should live by if they want lasting prosperity. It is a universal law. “We should never spend tomorrow’s money today”, first of all and to add to that, we should live within our means. Darn it, if we don’t have the money don’t buy it especially on credit.
This is the problem that we are facing today. There is something to say about how much accountability we have for our own finances. The people that are obeying the principle of living by the the financial laws of the universe, are being penalized by the people that are breaking the laws of the universe by spending spending spending. Our government is spending spending spending.
What is unfortunate about this is that the Mayor wanted to slip in through under the radar without going through the discussion process and put through congressional hearings, according to a Republican Congresswoman in Texas.
Should I dare to compare Fanny Mae and Freddy Mac to be a localized standard for doing business by abusing the democratic system? This is an outrage and it is not something that we should let go by us.
It is one thing to slip earmarks through the stimulus package without any congressional leaders reading it, but to have a Mayor attempt to slip a Micky on the good hard working Americans is very irresponsible.
This is a political move that only a liberal would attempt to put through undetected. We need to be aware of everything that our government officials are doing. We cannot continue to live life with our heads in the sand.

To all of my readers of the People’s Weekly, the Community Growers Association, Basic Essentials For life, and all OwlWise Artie affliated sites.
The video you are about to see is quite compelling and I hope this video will move to action. Please let me know what you think about this video. Thomas Paine is the narrator of the video.
The article titled The Government Is At It Again- Now It Is Food was written to inform the public about the government wanting to control the production of food of all phases. It is something we need to be concerned about. However, this article is written with a positive tone of hope. There are communities that are working together as a way to work through crisis and hardships.
There is power in communities who work together. Research shows that there are many communities world wide that are working together as a means to strengthen their communities individually and collectively.
We can look at the Divine Order of life and it would make sense to believe that there are cell groups planted all over the world. The purpose of this would be to prepare people for global economic collapse.
Global Economic Collapse and the depreciation of the American dollar is not just is not possible, but probable. A few days ago the White House asked the Treasure Department to print $1 trillion to jump start our economy. Risky as it is we can have the value of the dollar diminish in a flash. If this fails to do what was intended, it will produce catastrophic affects on the way we live.
Being prepared is probably the most affective way to minimize the consequential affects of bad decision making by our government officials. Many of us are suffering financially because of these decisions, so now that it has been done it is done and we have to turn to alternatives and be prepared.
There are many organizations and communities throughout the United States that are working together in harmony. This harmonious living standards is the way of the future and a way for us to be edified while going through crisis.
Imagine what life would be like without the American dollar. What would life look like to you if this was to happen?
There would be communities working together by growing food so they can feed their friends and their families. Men working together again by building a barn, a home, and clearing land just as it was for our founding fathers did to start life in America. There would be communities working together by trading skills for skills. Trading commodities one with another so people can get the provisions they stand in need of.
We can look at this and choose to be fearful of the future, or move forward as an opportunity to be close to one another. It is a much better option to want to work together within the communities, so everyone gets what they need to make it through the tough times.
The Community Growers Association and the Basic Essentials For Life organizations are geared to serving the community within the community. It is designed to inspire harmonious living.
Here are a couple of examples of what people are doing to get involved
Please take the poll survey at the end of the article.
Tension is building among Americans because of how much money is being spent on the stimulus packages and other spending related issues. We were warned that we would be facing bigger government and it is coming to pass as time passes. There will be more and more tea parties popping up throughout the country, but for different reasons.
It is my opinion that leftest politicians or secular progressives are wanting to have us be dependent on government. Could it be part of their plan to usher in socialism by having the public depend on government for food, shelter, and safety? So what is their angle? Could it mean that we will submit to a “socialistic” government when we are in dire straights?
What concerns me and many other Americans is that a little bit by little bit we allow the government to put controls and regulations on business, let alone how it affects us individually.
We out source food growing to China, Mexico, and other countries in South America and around the world. We have to think ahead at what could happen if the immigration bill was passed. The illegal immigrants would be asked to return to the respected countries because Americans are losing jobs to illegal immigrants.
What if the drug lord’s continue waging war down on the border states and it escalates. We can very well become at odds with Mexico? Then what? Our food supply will be controlled by the government just like our oil is controlled by OPEC prices, through supply and demand.
There are other concerns to think about as well. There is a present concern for food shortage. I live in Idaho and Idaho being a farming state was #7 for hunger in the nation. There was a lot of buzz about the crisis and much was done to get to the #13 spot nationally. We are surrounded by many mountain ranges that have been red flagged for potential volcano eruptions.
When this occurs, and we never know when disaster hits, how will we be prepared for disaster when there is Washington’s “Red Tape”? How will we be able to respond to disasters when government has control over farm lands and all productions of food?
Meanwhile government has taken over the farm lands and pushed out the local farmers because the small local farmer could not compete because of the astronomical costs of doing business with the government.
We have to be prepared at all times by being self reliant. We cannot let government have control over our life force, such as food. We cannot allow lobbyists or special interest groups such as the husband of Senator Rosa DeLauro (D) from Connecticut, line their pockets. We cannot afford to have their destructive agendas come to pass.
This is absolutely appalling and we need to stop these kinds of actions by asking the legislators to use language in the bills to be understandable and defined to the public’s understanding of policy. Some could argue points by rationalizing the meaning and intentions of the bill. Yet others will be alerted and suspicious to what our elected officials are trying to do to under-mind the people. This is not to be misconstrued as a “Conspiracy Theory”. It takes probing and asking questions so that truth can be our guide.
This is one of the many articles that was written on March 16, 2009 by Chelsea Shilling.
“The farmer and food growers could be placed under direct supervision of the federal government under new legislation making its way through Congress“.
The Food Safety Modernization Act House Resolution 875, (click on the link at the bottom of the page) or the Food Safety Modernization Act of 2009, was introduced by Rosa DeLauro, D-Conn., in February. DeLauro’s husband, Stanley Greenburg, works for Monsanto – the world’s leading producer of herbicides and genetically engineered seed.
DeLauro’s act has 39 co-sponsors and was referred to the House Agriculture Committee on Feb. 4. It calls for the creation of a Food Safety Administration to allow the government to regulate food production at all levels – and even mandates property seizure, fines of up to $1 million per offense and criminal prosecution for producers, manufacturers and distributors who fail to comply with regulations. Michael Olson, host of the Food Chain radio show and author of “Metro Farm,” told WND the government should focus on regulating food production in countries such as China and Mexico rather than burdening small and organic farmers in the U.S. with overreaching regulations. “We need somebody to watch over us when we’re eating food that comes from thousands and thousands of miles away. We need some help there,” he said. “But when food comes from our neighbors or from farmers who we know, we don’t need all of those rules. If your neighbor sells you something that is bad and you get sick, you are going to get your hands on that farmer, and that will be the end of it. It regulates itself.
” The legislation would establish the Food Safety Administration within the Department of Health and Human Services “to protect the public health by preventing food-borne illness, ensuring the safety of food, improving research on contaminants leading to food-borne illness, and improving security of food from intentional contamination, and for other purposes.”
Terrance W Norton states, “I find this very interesting that the government is going to play a shell game with us. They know that we do not trust the FDA because of the harmful chemicals they are allowing manufactures and processing plants to put into our food, which causes Cancer. Now they want to use another government run organization, The Department of Health and Human Services, NO WAY!!”
Terrance goes on to say, ” Tom Daschal was thrown out of the Senate and returns by appointment to head up the Department of Health and Human Services. It should throw up a warning flag and cause us to question the reasons why government feels that they need to regulate and mandate our food production activities.
Why punish the farmers by the gross conduct of a few farmers or peanut manufactures? Or was this a plot to create a problem such as the samenella, so this bill could be passed and pockets filled? I would also say this that the government is darn near broke and how will they pay for social security benefits, unless they ….”
Federal regulators will be tasked with ensuring that food producers, processors and distributors – both large and small – prevent and minimize food safety hazards such as food-borne illnesses and contaminants such as bacteria, chemicals, natural toxins or manufactured toxicants, viruses, parasites, prions, physical hazards or other human pathogens. Under the legislation’s broad wording, slaughterhouses, seafood processing plants, establishments that process, store, hold or transport all categories of food products prior to delivery for retail sale, farms, ranches, orchards, vineyards, aquaculture facilities and confined animal-feeding operations would be subject to strict government regulation.
Government inspectors would be required to visit and examine food production facilities, including small farms, to ensure compliance. They would review food safety records and conduct surveillance of animals, plants, products or the environment. “What the government will do is bring in industry experts to tell them how to manage all this stuff,” Olson said.
“It’s industry that’s telling government how to set these things up. What it always boils down to is who can afford to have the most influence over the government. It would be those companies that have sufficient economies of scale to be able to afford the influence – which is, of course, industrial agriculture.” Farms and food producers would be forced to submit copies of all records to federal inspectors upon request to determine whether food is contaminated, to ensure they are in compliance with food safety laws and to maintain government tracking records.Refusal to register, permit inspector access or testing of food or equipment would be prohibited.
“What is going to happen is that local agriculture will end up suffering through some onerous protocols designed for international agriculture that they simply don’t need,” Olson said. “Thus, it will be a way for industrial agriculture to manage local agriculture.” Under the act, every food producer must have a written food safety plan describing likely hazards and preventative controls they have implemented and must abide by “minimum standards related to fertilizer use, nutrients, hygiene, packaging, temperature controls, animal encroachment, and water.” “That opens a whole can of worms,” Olson said.
“I think that’s where people are starting to freak out about losing organic agriculture. Who is going to decide what the minimum standards are for fertilization or anything else?
The government is going to bring in big industry and say we are setting up these protocols, so what do you think we should do? Who is it going to bring in to ask? The government will bring in people who have economies of scale who have that kind of influence.
” DeLauro’s act calls for the Food Safety Administration to create a “national traceability system” to retrieve history, use and location of each food product through all stages of production, processing and distribution.
Olson believes the regulations could create unjustifiable financial hardships for small farmers and run them out of business. “That is often the purpose of rules and regulations: to get rid of your competition,” he said. “Only people who are very, very large can afford to comply. They can hire one person to do paperwork. There’s a specialization of labor there, and when you are very small, you can’t afford to do all of these things.
” Olson said despite good intentions behind the legislation, this act could devastate small U.S. farms. “Every time we pass a rule or a law or a regulation to make the world a better place, it seems like what we do is subsidize production offshore,” he said. “We tell farmers they can no longer drive diesel tractors because they make bad smoke.
Well, essentially what we’re doing is giving China a subsidy to grow our crops for us, or Mexico or anyone else.” Section 304 of the Food Safety Modernization Act establishes a group of “experts and stakeholders from Federal, State, and local food safety and health agencies, the food industry, consumer organizations, and academia” to make recommendations for improving food-borne illness surveillance.
According to the act, “Any person that commits an act that violates the food safety law … may be assessed a civil penalty by the Administrator of not more than $1,000,000 for each such act.” Each violation and each separate day the producer is in defiance of the law would be considered a separate offense and an additional penalty. The act suggests federal administrators consider the gravity of the violation, the degree of responsibility and the size and type of business when determining penalties.
Criminal sanctions may be imposed if contaminated food causes serious illness or death, and offenders may face fines and imprisonment of up to 10 years. “It’s just frightening what can happen with good intentions,” Olson said. “It’s probably the most radical notions on the face of this Earth, but local agriculture doesn’t need government because it takes care of itself.”
In conclusion, it can be said that the boldness of the people we elect to represent us can betray us with their slick politics. How could anyone with a sound mind draft up a bill like this is unconscionable to me. This could affect the whole restaurant and food service industry if this bill gets passed in Congress. It will cause businesses to close their doors and farmers to go broke while the government buys up their property.
There is not a problem within our local farming communities. Like it was said earlier we would want to take hold of the person(s) responsible for contaminating our food and we would hold them accountable. Many do not think the government can be challenged and they would certainly not hold themselves accountable.
They did not hold themselves accountable through the housing debacle which caused the fall of our economy and a severe hardship to thousands of Americans. What makes us think the government will set a standard of excellence when serving their constituency to be anything different? A large percentage of Americans have lost hope in Congresses’ ability to do the country’s business with integrity.
Is it just me that I am suspicious because I noticed the committee members are not listed and not available to the public? How can a bill be put to Congress for a up or down vote without committee members? We will let you decide. Now it is your time to vote. Please vote on the poll below.
